The Amazing Journey visited our school and we spent a lovely morning listening to Bible Stories, dressing up and sampling some fruits.
Today we worked with a buddy to research facts about the red wolf. We enjoyed finding out for ourselves.

We invited our parents to our Harvest and thanksgiving assembly. We got complimented on our singing and speaking out.
Today we ran the Daily Mile with our friends, listening to Christmas music and we wore our festive jumpers.
A wonderful day meeting new friends and playing Icebreaker games. We look forward to seeing you in January.

A fantastic visit from Pete today teaching us about fire safety in the home.
Today we visited Armagh Planetarium. We watched a presentation on the Solar System, looked at the exhibits, dressed up and listened to Mark tell us about astronauts.
We also learned about planets and stars and finally did an experiment to show how a rocket is launched.
We all enjoyed our day out and it was a great way to start a new month in P.5.

Green Day in P.5
We dressed in green and even had a green snack!
Last Wednesday we met up with our Shared Ed friends and participated in some sports. We learned some rugby, football and Gaelic skills. The fun was rounded off by a visit from the ice cream van. A fun morning was had by everyone and we look forward to seeing our new friends again, soon.
Today The Active Learning Company came to Edenderry. Our Shared Education friends visited our school and we all took part in an Ancient Egyptian workshop.
We hunted a hippo, became Egyptologists,played Aseb,built a pyramid, weaved, drew, created a museum, made hieroglyphics in clay and dressed up.
